The Geekette Speaketh

I recently acquired the Asus Eee 4G from my dear friend, Art Ilano. I must admit, I've been wanting to get a netbook ever since this first came out a year ago. The thing is, I couldn't think of a reason for having one since I already had a laptop on my own. I couldn't do any of my normal programming work on it. So what could I use this for anyway?

And yet here I am typing away at the Eee, which I had now named "Love". I still have my old laptop.  What surprises me though is that I actually am able to use both units on a regular basis. So exactly what can I do with a netbook?

A few days ago I realized that if I want to stay true to my resolutions at all, I need to be reminded about it. And what better way to do it than with my Palm Zire72. The Palm Zire72 has been with me for almost five years now. It was my replacement for an aging Palm IIIe. I never thought I'd be bringing out my Zire72 again. I haven't used this in over a year or two. Yet here it is. Back in action. Ironically, two days later I find out that Palm is now closing down almost all of its retail stores.
