About Me

Hello! I'm the Head Geekette. At least, that's how I'm known in cyberspace. My semi-real name is Charo Nuguid. Life in the tech arena started off when my dad bought me a Commodore Vic 20 way back in 1983. My first programming language was Apple Basic. I eventually graduated from the University of Santo Tomas with a degree that's supposed to land me a nice job doing equations in an insurance company as an actuary. Fortunately I ended up working for various IT companies as a software developer and a technology trainer. My last employer was with Orange and Bronze Software Labs as a senior software engineer and IT trainer specializing in Java technologies, software design, security, and enterprise web applications. Right now I'm doing freelance work, specifically for Android mobile application development. If you'd like to know more about me, just post your question as a comment below.

Hi Ma'am Charo!

Remember me from the last Headstrong Java Bootcamp?

Got to learn about your blog from Mike Abundo's blog.

Anyway, just dropped by to say hi!

Hi Ryan!

Of course I remember you! :) Hope you're doing great there at Headstrong. I heard that some of you are about to be assigned to AIU. Best of luck! :D
